excuse-the-facts:

ESPN’s Sports Nation headline: “Linsanity back to Reality!”
After a rough, and I mean rough game against the Heat; not surprising all the attention still focuses back Jeremy Lin and the Knicks. Let’s say that ESPN, NBA TV, or any other sports network spoke about this game for 30 mins…20 of those minutes will be about the Knicks and only 10 for the Heat. No one is going to be talking about Miami’s 8 straight double digit victory, their amazing defense played in this game, or Dwayne Wade’s and Chris Bosh’s great game. It all falls back on the Knicks. A Knicks team who just had no flow offensively, threw up every shot early in their possession and just couldn’t clog the paint the way they have been recently. Their two stars, Melo and Amare were no where to be found. Oh that other guy Jeremy Lin his final stat line: 8 points, 3 ast. And 8 turnovers. I wonder what’s gonna be the talk of ESPN and the NY times tomorrow. Maybe the hype will go down and Lin can start playing basketball without the distractions. As for the Heat, they definitely sent the NBA a message. A force to reckon with!
